3. Structure Introduction:

The BC156-300 cement length meter is mainly composed of columns, bases, clamping frames, and measuring instruments. Insert the lower end of the column into the base and secure it with a nut on the base. It is not advisable to disassemble it frequently. One end of the clamp is inserted into the upright and clamped onto the column with a locking screw. The locking screw should be tightened onto the column after the clamp is adjusted to prevent rotation or sliding

The other end of the clamping bracket is used to insert the measuring instrument, and it is clamped and fixed by the locking screw or adjusted to move up and down after loosening. The lower support is screwed onto the base with a nut for inserting test pieces. Generally, it should not be disassembled. One end of the top foot is concave, and during testing, it should be inserted into the top of the test piece. The other end should be fastened with M2.5 thread to the measuring instrument, paying attention to coaxiality

4. Usage and Maintenance:

When using this instrument for cement shrinkage testing or measuring expansion rate and self stress values, standard specimens with spherical heads at both ends and corresponding forming and curing methods must be used

The instrument should be placed steadily on a rubber pad in a vibration free environment, and the room temperature in the laboratory should be controlled at 17-25 ℃. Before placing the specimen for each test, the top surfaces of both ends of the specimen should be wiped clean, and the upper and lower support surfaces (referring to the lower support hole and contact hole) of the instrument should be wiped clean with slightly damp cotton yarn to prevent sand particles from falling in and affecting measurement accuracy. Then check the zero point of the dial gauge (you can lightly tap the surface glass pointer position with your finger). When reading, the specimen can be slightly moved to ensure that the top of the specimen is in correct contact with the upper and lower support surfaces of the instrument. The measurement should be accurate to 0.01 millimeters or 0.001 millimeters. When the pointer swings, the average reading within the swing range can be taken

If the instrument is not used for a long time, a thin layer of machine oil should be applied on the non plated surface after wiping it clean, and covered with plastic film to prevent rust
