PRODUCT DETAILS

1、 Product Usage:

The SL-80 in-situ press for masonry is suitable for estimating the compressive strength of 240mm thick ordinary brick masonry, and is an honest merchant equipment for on-site testing and comprehensive evaluation of the compressive strength of brick masonry2. Features: Large tonnage, high stroke, no oil leakage, easy to use, equipped with oil pressure shock resistant display table, accurate indication3. The equipment consists of flat jacks, four strong pull rods, upper and lower pressure plates, ball head pads, hand pump pressure rods, shock-absorbing pressure gauges, return pressure flanges, and other components4. Main technical indicators: rated pressure; 800KN

1. Excellent pressure: 1000KN

2. Large stroke: 20mm

3. Excellent stroke: 25mm

4. Relative error of indication: 3%

5. Plane size of upper pressure plate: 370mmX240mm

6. Size of lower pressure plate; 240mmX240mm

7. Oil storage capacity: 1.5 liters

8. Diameter of the main cylinder of the flat jack: 168mm

9. Total weight of the equipment: 104kg, of which the flat jack is 57kg

5. Introduction to in-situ axial compression method testing

1. The testing site is selected in the middle of the wall, at a height of about 1m from the floor and ground. The width of the wall on each side of the masonry between the grooves is greater than 1.5m. On the same wall, one measuring point is taken, avoiding the height range of the wall under the cantilever beam, stress concentration areas, and the calculated height range of the wall beam. According to the specifications, this project has taken 6 measurement areas, and the specific locations are detailed in Table 1 of the test results

2、 The upper horizontal groove is 250 × 240 × 70, and the lower horizontal groove is 250 × 240 × 140. The upper and lower horizontal grooves are aligned, with a distance of 7 bricks between them. When slotting, the surrounding walls are not disturbed, and the groove pressure surface is repaired and leveled

3、 Place the press machine between the slots, evenly lay 10 thick fine sand on the lower surface of the upper slot and the top surface of the jack, tighten the steel tie rod and adjust its parallelism. Before formal testing, a test pressure load of 100KN is applied to check the flexibility and goodness of the testing system, as well as whether the contact between the upper and lower pressure plates and the compression surface of the masonry is uniform and dense. After testing the load and testing the system, it was unloaded and the formal testing began

4、 During formal testing, the load is applied in stages, with each stage taking 10% of the estimated failure load and evenly completed within 1-1.5 minutes. Then, the load is kept constant for 2 minutes until it reaches 80% of the estimated load. The load is continuously applied at the original rate until the masonry between the grooves is damaged

Attachment: Code for Testing Masonry Strength by In situ Axial Compression Method

1 Purpose

In order to better protect the quality of masonry engineering, this code is formulated.

1.1 Scope of Application

This method is applicable for estimating the compressive strength of 240mm thick ordinary brick masonry.

1.2 Instruments and Equipment 1.2.1 The in-situ press is composed of a manual oil pump, a flat jack, a reaction balance frame, etc1.2.2 The force value of the in-situ press should be verified every six months1.3 Measurement site The measurement site should be representative and comply with the following regulations1.3.1 The measurement location should be selected at a height of about 1 meter from the middle of the wall to the floor or ground; The width of the wall on each side of the masonry between the grooves should not be less than 1.5m1.3.2 On the same wall, there should not be more than one measuring point, and it is advisable to choose the middle part along the length of the wall; When there are more than one, the horizontal clearance distance shall not be less than 2.0m1.3.3 The testing location shall not be selected under the cantilever beam, stress concentration area, or within the calculated height range of the wall beam

2 Experimental Steps

2.1 Drill two horizontal slots on the wall and place the in-situ press.

. When excavating horizontal slots on measuring points, the following regulations should be followed:2.1.1 The dimensions of the upper and lower water channels should meet the requirements in the table below

n value of the compressive strength of the standard masonry at the jth measurement point in the i-th measurement area (MPa)
